Engineering Executive

Objective

As an Engineering Executive, he shall be responsible for assuring implementation of all Resort policies, standards and procedures for Energy Conservation & Control, Fire prevention and other life safety programs, effective Preventive and routine maintenance of all electromechanical systems & equipment in the resort

Chief Engineer

Reporting To This Position

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Support Chief Engineer to organize, motivate, control and handle staff of the department.
  • Preparing purchase requisitions for engineering materials and spare parts.
  • Coordinating with the purchase department and vendors
  • Tracking material delivery status.
  • Assisting Chief Engineer with documentation and compliance requirements
  • Ensuring timely availability of required materials
  • Monitoring stock levels and initiating reorders
  • Coordinates and liaises/follows-up with service companies during equipment breakdown.
  • Responses immediately to the Reactive Maintenance Requests by coordinating with the Engineering Staff.
  • Maintaining inventory and stock registers
  • Supervise the implementation of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
  • Understands the value of constant training and pro-actively supports all training activities at The Nautilus.
  • Maintaining vendor contact records
  • Supporting audits and inspections
  • Maintaining engineering documents, drawings, and technical files
  • Preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports
  • Maintaining cost records related to materials and maintenance
  • Maintains the work area safe and tidy and reports any unsafe condition for the seniors.
  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to the resort standards, and anticipates and addresses guests service needs.
  • Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures.
  • Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good condition. Always maintains a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guest or public areas.
  • Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the management.
